I've been scheduling a few shoots within the next week and I am so exciting to start shooting again. I couldn't just sit around tonight, so I decided to dust off the gear and try out some different lighting techniques.
I never really did a "overhead" lighting, and I liked the way it came out. My white shoot through was on a boom and was almost veritcal over the camera, slightly off axis though. And I used the big mama for some fill.
The coolest thing about this shot, is that it was actually against a white background. I love my new studio :)

Sometimes when bears walk, their hind pawprint overlaps their front pawprint and it ends up looking like this. Or as my friend the cryptozoologist said, "Sasquatch are shape-shifters and this one morphed from bear to anthropoid for a single step".
Some say this creature lives in many parts of north america the Bigfoot as some call them is perhaps the most elusive creature on the planet yet many claim they have seen or had a close encounter with the sasquatch in British Columbia Canada
July 6, 2011-I have a friend named George who lives deep in the woods, whenever George comes around we always have a campfire going, toasting marshmallows, drinking coffee or hot coco and swap stories ranging from ghosts, aliens and Bigfoot or rather Sasquatch. We always have a great time and often find we can't sleep for a few nights. Now you are probably thinking that Sasquatch don't exist, well a lot of folks believe that. I am telling you that is not so, and I have proof! This is Salvatore the Sasquatch; a friendly creature, doesn't smell as bad as folks have said. As you can see no one else is around, (they are hiding under my bed). I was lucky this came out with out being blurred from camera or rather whole body shake. (187:365)
Located north of Harrison Hot Springs, Sasquatch Provincial Park is characterized by a series of pocket lakes, a unique second-growth and birch forest, and scenic mountain ridges.
Hicks and Deer Lakes are ideal for motor-boating and canoeing, while Trout Lake provides a tranquil fishing experience. Visitors can also enjoy camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, and picnicking

This pen drawing was done sometime between the late 70s and the early 80s. This drawing is significant because I was trying my best to draw trees as I saw them and not as I imagined them. I think I succeeded somewhat.
Japandroids crowd - May 31, 2010
This year seemed to be all about the audience... They are as much a part of a good (or bad) show as the performers, and often times some of the rawest energy you will ever experience. This show in particular was one of the most intense I've ever seen. It took 6 security guards hold back this crowd from surging forward and rushing the stage. This was truly awesome to witness and was stoked to be able to share without getting trampled.
It hailed for about an hour, hard, leaving Sasquatch nothing but a mess of soggy hipsters.
The sun shone not long before the hail hit. The sunburn on my face can prove it.
Wearing a mask, a Bigfoot (Sasquatch) figure promotes COVID-19 precautions. Illustration of how everyone, including BIGFOOT, must wear a face mask.

This is the first time I even inspected the other side of the original Sasquatch burl. While it is not exactly the same it still resembles a rather brutish face.
