Sasquatch Music Festival 2008
Quincy, WA
If you would like to see a bunch of snapshots of Sasquatch 08, go here:
Live Nation decided not to let cameras with a "detachable lens" into the festival. I managed to get through the VIP entrance with my 5D. I noticed plenty of other DSLR cameras around the main stage ... So, others managed to sneak in; but I'm not sure how.
This image was captured in 12-bit RAW - so I got a few stops of dynamic range. I exposed down the high range (sky), and comped it back in.
Camera: Canon EOS 5D
Exposure: 0.05 sec (1/20)
Aperture: f/22 (for a deep depth of field)
Focal Length: 17 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Some of you may remember Lilli's friend the sasquatch from last year :) Well, this winter she found him again! After her dream about feeding him cupcakes, she brought one for him and he loved it. He let her hop aboard and took her for a little ride in the snow :)

I took this picture when we had the last of our snow, but as i like to photograph my dolls in rotation i couldn't put it up yet :D
New monster bag with a mouth made as a custom order for a sasquatch lover.
I think there will be some yetis too and maybe a pink version of this :)
Usually Sasquatch avoids inhabited areas, but this time appears to have taken an interest in a construction site. This is why it's always important to have your camera with you.
Obviously an oldie! But I just ran into this photo and couldnt stop laughing! In this picture I was shooting to make the stitches I posted A while back. So in this shot Rosie was bored waiting for me to view the last picture and pick the next spot for her to stand for the following pic and picked up some sticks to kill the boredom meanwhile I made up my mind. She was quite entertained playing with them when I pointed to a spot I thought would be good and yelled out "There!" so then she ran to the spot screaming "AHHHHHHHHH" the whole way! Why? I dont know!
It was funny then and when I saw the pic I couldnt stop laughing! I gues I was laughing so hard I shot her on the way because I didnt mean to shoot her runing!
After careful viewing after I stoped laughing I think this kinda looks like one of the shots of big foot when he kinda turns back to look at the camera! I belive thats this Sasquatch's Trail leading up twords the top of the picture!
This is the very first time anyone has documented this perticular Sasquatch in the "Wilderness".
When I posted a similar picture on Facebook from last week's trip, the Milky Way was just barely visible due to the strong moonlight. What I actually wrote was "Look carefully and you may notice something barely visible." To which Dali replied "Sasquatch". Cracked me up, so Dali, this one's for you!
Right next to the t in my last name there appears to be a face... perhaps it IS Sasquatch!

What you're looking at is the last 1,000 feet of ascent of Half Dome. Also known as the Great Granite Staircase (or subdome) followed by the cables. If all the steep stairs and difficult footing along the Mist Trail hadn't already convinced you to turn back, the sight of this seemingly vertical huge wall of rock can leave you wondering if it's even possible.

I was down south on a wild horse tour and I looked on a nearby ridge and I saw a sasquatch!
