Cemlyn Bay, Anglesey, June 2022

Wish I could go in – I’m a coward. I’ll wait until next year.

The Hereios at “We’re Here!” heard it’s National Sandwich Day, so we are visiting Sandwiched.

Many thanks to all those who comment on my photo's and/or add them as favourites.

Venice - California - 2011

Took a Drive up to New Hampshire this Morning for a Little Foliage Photography, and Caught this Wonderful spot in Sandwich NH. Very Overcast but did the best I could.

Left tier: Turkey sandwich on wheat with apple cranberry chutney and provolone; hard-boiled egg; raspberry vinaigrette for the salad.

Right tier: Mixed greens with feta, strawberries and almonds.

Another go (the third) but I still can't get close enough.

I'm not quite sure exactly how many frogs are involved in this entanglement - I reckon at least three. I'm not even sure if there is a female amongst them either as male frogs will cling to almost anything at this time of year. At last though the sun is shining so they are getting on with business in earnest. It's rather a pity that I managed to clip off ' fingers ' and ' toes ' in this shot.

Nothing much going on inside...

Goldcrests were everywhere but only found 1 firecrest.

There is a large Tern colony at Cemlyn Bay on the Isle of Anglesey.

This shot was processed with the white balance temperature set at 5200, my normal default setting. It's too yellow/golden for my taste.

Sandwich Bay.

I don't often go out in the afternoon but I'm glad I did today - 3 SEOs showed well this afternoon,

Sandwich Bay.

A SEO looked good hunting in the frosty mist but my pictures were disappointing, failing to capture what we were seeing.. As the mist lifted things got a little easier.
