I think I've got this right. Please correct me if not. A Sandwich Tern from Sandwich Bay. There was a few of them fishing the estuary,so a grabbed a shot when one came in range.

I was on the sailing club ramp when this diver popped up quite close. 10 seconds later it was swimming strongly out to sea and that was that.

Sandwich Tern with gift for partner, I missed the exchange and managed another f10 flight shot - doh!

Very blowy today at Blackness Castle but these Sandwich Terns were coming in to the high tide roost there

South of Sandilands. I got all excited when I first saw it (without my bins) because it was obviously a wheatear but what variety. Once I got the bins on the bird I came back down to earth.

Vier Reisewagen und 2 Loks der Baureihe 101 im Sandwich, das ist bei einigen IC-Verbindungen der Relation Leipzig - Norddeich-Mole mittlerweile fast Standard.

So auch am späten Nachmittag des 27. April 2021 bei Veenhusen, festgehalten mit der Drohne aus 41 m Höhe.

Am Morgen des 15. April 2021 bot der IC 2037 von Norddeich-Mole nach Leipzig wieder einmal eine Sandwich-Bespannung mit 2 Loks der Baureihe 101.

Sieht man hier in letzter Zeit häufiger, vermutlich sind defekte Steuerwagen der Grund dafür.

It's the kind of exceptional lighting condition that happens maybe once in a life

The last time I made a loaf of this bread was back on August 12. I find one of these little loaves lasts me a month. I freeze what I don't eat and usually I only use one piece of bread for a sandwich. I find it quite filling. I baked it with my Pullman loaf pan and this time I put the lid on it so it wouldn't crown. Later, I'll make myself a turkey and yellow tomato sandwich.

Shoreham Harbour

Yesterday we took a walk from Saltburn by the Sea to Redcar before returning on the train. The first stretch we walked on the cliff tops before dropping down onto the beach for the stretch from Marske to Redcar. A good number of Sandwich Terns were seen in and amongst the tidal pools on the beach.

Yet another from Cemlyn Bay, Anglesey.
