Testing some of the new enameling colors. I like the ruby red quite a lot. I have applied two layers of transparent red over clear flux.

core samples at a copper mine - this copper mine somewhere in bc is currently shut down i am told but will fire up when the price of copper goes up. there was thousands of racks of core samples from the mine in various stages of returning to where it came from.
Sample done in a college weaving class. The assignment was to find unusual things to use as weft and weave them in an assortment of twill patterns.
The unusual weft in this one is nylons and medical gauze.
