Umbilical blood sample is taken for analysis in a clean zone lab of Gemabank blood bank, subsidiary of JSC "Human Stem Cells Institute". These samples are taken during child birth in maternity hospitals all around Russia (if hospital and mother sign contract). After that, they are delivered to Gemabank, analyzed for diseases and genetic structure and placed to cryostorage.
