laser filet sample 3/8 inch thick steel plate
sample has one corner with no filet, two with .060 filet and one with .125 filet.
or rounded corners technically but the software calls them all filets.
So the actual corners are half the radius of the program. something to remember if it has to fit inside a bend.

I went shopping for colors today, again. To help me, I've made a sample page of all the acrylic colors I've got, so I could compare them with colors I wanted to buy, and avoid doubles.
I wasn't really expecting to find: a) that I have so many already; b) that I have a few doubles is there. 2 Ultramarine,2 Carmine (why in the hell?), 2 Hookers green, 3 bright yellows and enough Ochre and vermilion to paint poppy fields for the rest of my life.
and apperently, I don't have red of any kind. I'm a cmyk artist these days.
UPDATE: we have Cadmium red medium.

Our housing event was a blast. The ladies turned the sampling program into an entire spa day, and they loved the skin care samples.
For my month in The Great White North Bee 2 I am sending my fellow bee members a variety of strips of Kaffe Fassett woven stipes and a couple of squares of a yellow shot cotton. I am asking them to make two Improv Strip Blocks.
I am asking for 16.5" blocks rather than the 12.5" block in the tutorial (and will provide the instructions for the different size.) The centre square I am providing is 4.5" to account for the larger block size.
Umbilical blood sample is taken for analysis in a clean zone lab of Gemabank blood bank, subsidiary of JSC "Human Stem Cells Institute". These samples are taken during child birth in maternity hospitals all around Russia (if hospital and mother sign contract). After that, they are delivered to Gemabank, analyzed for diseases and genetic structure and placed to cryostorage. If it appears later, that child has oncologic or genetic disease, like leukemia, these samples are used along with other therapy, easing patients' suffering and significantly raising his or her chances for complete cure. © Ignat Solovey/STRF.ru.
