Just a sample from a collection of photos I took yesterday...trying to compile them into a story-type format. I will be creating a page for it on my website and posting a link to it from Flickr so keep an eye out!
The Standard Assessment of Mitigation Potential and Livelihoods in Smallholder Systems (SAMPLES) Program aims to identify pro-poor mitigation options in smallholder farming systems, focusing on opportunities to benefit both farmers’ food security and contribute to climate change mitigation.

Samples for the kitchen decor arrived today. The dark oak will be the countertop, so we will try to find hardwood flooring that matches this. The white part will be the front for all the cabinets and drawers, so we're trying to find a wall colour to match it.
I've had a company ask a friend of mine to see if he knew anyone that could do product photography. My friend has seen the stuff I did with the toys from a week or so ago and is discussing with me if I'm capable of doing it.
I tried a sample tonight using one flash. I took shots with the remotely triggered flash from various angles and then applied a similar technique used when merging HDR images to get a more even light across the frame.
This is the result.
If I do manage to get the gig I will definitely look into a proper light booth set up but I hope some of the samples I produced are enough to convice this group that I'm capable of doing it.
close up showing the cutwork and the different fabric insets, the ties and buttonhole lace. I've stitched it onto an A4 sheet of card to hold open the pleats. I know it isn't white but there is no mistaking my ideas came from a previous Karen class!
These are some samples for my friends wedding using just Vanilla and Chocolate cupcakes and the buttercream is a chocolate swiss meringue. She wants a pink and brown theme so these are what i have come up with so far.
This will be the first time i've done a wedding tower and i'm quite excited but scared at the same time! :-)

Found out they decided to not make this color way. So these are the only pair in this color and they aren't coming out!
The Japanese have their plastic foods, namu has example plates to demonstrate their wares (please don't eat! It's been out in the sun for hours).

i found teeny eyelets in the colors of my logo. that made me geeky happy.
then i slid them nicely inside brown paper bag envelopes that i made from grocery bags according to type. i can be organized.
