Basically it's a mixture of Indian, Mexican, Italian, Greek, and American. Yum!

In Hyderabad Zoo there are various types of deers. When we are walking near a deer cage, this Sambar came near the fence to drink water and offered some good pose.
The sambar is another common deer found in India. Favourite prey of the tiger.

First time I let down my equipment, instead of being on AI Servo was on One Shot, didnt take my finger off the shutter button and the 5D III didnt refocus. End result, crisp Sambar behind and a blurred koti gala male. Needless to say, I am gutted. In my defence, the moment lasted a few seconds and I had too much adrenalin in my system! Oh well, never again!
On my visit to the Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, India, I came across this sambar, a type of Indian deer. After the official tour, I left my group and went wandering about the bushes, met this beauty and strangely felt compelled to follow him out of the bushes and onto the pathway, no fear of being trampled by him. What an awesome moment!
