This is an abstraction of a rusty safe I found laying in a lot.

in a mirror ... interesting

Are you copyright infringementation safe? I am, because I've stopped worrying about it!

A Flickr friend recently deleted all his photos on Flickr after finding out that someone had used his photos without his consent. Although, he has started posting photos again, this is indeed sad as we will not be able to see his old photos.

when we decide to publish our photographs on the internet, it is not a matter of if, but when we will become a victim of morons who are more than happy to take credit for our work. So let us all be aware, than to be one day taken by surprise.

And if you really, really want to protect you work, it would be best to delete all your photos online and share/display them to others via other means such as exhibitions. I do know many people who do exactly that, and it works for them.

But for the other masses, who choose to be in the limelight via the internet, copyright infringement is inevitably part of to game. Like it or not, we will all have to live with it.

Glad to see people are using condoms, but I'd rather not see evidence of this while out for a walk with my son. Thankfully he was oblivious to this, and we didn't end up running across the item that once occupied this package. Ahem.

An old safe from the old days no doubts in my mine laying around in the yard in Georgetown which was rich in silver.

Never safe when there are two inquisitive toddlers about. I rescued this guy from the duo & put him in the parsley.

Anyone know if he's a centipede or a millipede - and how do you tell the difference??

This is the Sage Passage, a cocktail created by Kenaniah Bystrom for Essex, Seattle in 2013. This cocktail was created for a release party in honor of the cookbook from the famed Franny's restaurant in Brooklyn. Bystrom took one of Franny's cocktails, Sweet Olive, and substituted Amaro Nardini in place of Amaro Meletti. Nardini has a stronger profile centered around bitter orange peel and peppermint compared to Meletti's lighter "cola" and violet flower flavors. Both cocktail use olive brine which lends a perfect amount of saltiness to play against the bitterness of the amari. The result is something that is a harmonious and uncommon balance of salty, sweet, bitter.

1 oz Amaro Nardini

0.25 oz Aperol

0.25 oz fresh lemon juice

0.25 oz castelvetrano olive brine (use the best you can find)

2.5 oz brut prosecco (approximately)

Combine the amaro, Aperol, lemon juice, and olive brine into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake briefly. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with two castelvetrano olives on a skewer.

View from the mountain at the top of the via ferrata Tridentina, Dolomites Mountains (Italian Alps).

Of the left, you can see the famous suspension footbridge, visible from the road below, that passes over a vertiginous vertical chasm.

The climbing route involves ascending more than 2,500 feet (750m) of almost vertical cliff, equipped with cables and occasional metal ladders or steps.

Via Ferratas are climbing routes permanently equipped with a safety cable. For more info about via ferrata, go to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Via_ferrata.
