This is an iron decoration attached to a single flower vase.

The part shown in the photo is approximately 5 cm in total.

I took a photo of the rusted part at pedestal.

I found this in a salvage yard. This was on the side of an old metal drum. Taken with a tripod mounted point and shoot.

I was out doing an errand yesterday and came across this old truck. I didn't have my camera with me but I had my phone so I took some pictures with what I had I'm very happy with that I got!

Oops. I messed up the original image. Here it is again.

In the port you can find lots of rust, on ships and piles of scaffolding. This picture I took in the harbour of Helgoland on one of the piles. I love the structures the rust makes on surfaces and creates art in a way.

One of my favorite old trucks under a gorgeous Wisconsin sky a few years back. This old truck was recently purchased and is being restored into a rat rod. I think I would rather it stay just like this....

This old dresser one of my cool finds from an abandoned physchiatric hospital and other items nearby from other explorations. Will enter this in this weeks Sun Shots category called RUST. In reference to a recent comment I didnt take this from the property without asking permission first and given the ok.

This abstract is a section of the rusty hull from the vessel Oakglen that sits in our harbour. There is so much rust it was hard to compose something that spoke to me. Making sense of what seems like a lot of chaos is good practice for the tumultuous times we are living in. I guess I see a marsh with a moon reflected in it because nature is my go to place to find peace. May you all find your place of peace, too.
