come see where we have been
Out here rusting in the rain."

Night photo of the interior of what is most likely a 1928 Moreland truck. I lit the interior with warm white light using a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light painting device during the exposure. This may appear in my second book of night photography that I am working on now. Thank you for looking!

Hello as demanded by the modo. I inform you that macro has been taken last July, during my vacations at San Sebastián Spain. I could find lovely rusted things in Paris but not like the sea could did ; ) best regards
I'll come clean... this is a section of copper waste pipe that was bonded to cast iron, so technically corroded not rusted, though it does have a rust layer.

A rusted and decaying Drinking Fountain at Belmont State Park on Long Island, NY.
What best object to chose from for the "Iron" topic of the weekly Macro Mondays challenge, than an old rusty woodworker tool?
I've bought this antique Stanley plane for a few bucks and on a whim, some time ago, because it looked so interesting, and put it aside with the intention to try bringing it back into a working state at some time.
You can't tell from the picture, but it's a so-called "Circular plane", that allowed the woodworker, with the turn of an adjustment screw, to give is sole a concave or convex shape.
While researching about this model (Stanley No. 113) a few minutes ago, I realized that this tool is older than I thought, as it had been produced between 1877 and 1942! Mine seems to be of type 2, that is between 1880 and 1891.
This makes it suddenly even more interesting, but I'll think twice about how to restore it now...
Oh, and it definitely fits the bill for this week, as its construction is stated as "cast iron"! 😊
