Rusted gate of Maltese crosses

Went for a walk to the nearby stream and found whole bunch of rusty stuff lying around. Depressing sight, but interesting photo matter...

Okay, so I'm thinking about trying to make an AV on rust. Rust around here doesn't only happen in rusty wrecks in the bush. It seems everyone wants a bit of rust ta decorate the place, so here is some rust in signage, poles, statues, gate, road signs and electricity poles ... Rusty rusty rusty ... aaargh!

Old rusty Ford truck. Found out in the Marcola area. This is my idea of cool yard art!

Someone dug these wagon parts out of the underbrush and set them up just waiting to have their pic taken, I obliged

This is another photo for the scavenger hunt I am doing. This one is rust. My grandpa has a couple of really old trucks at his place and I saw this hole and loved the color and textures.

I love the way that the rusted areas go grey or black when soaked in tea.

One of the many beautiful tombstones located in the Marietta City Cemetery. This graveyard is full of beautiful architecture and many graves dating back to the 1700's...not to mention a few awesome ghost stories too! Plus lots of rich rusty red Georgia clay!

October 2011 Monthly Scavenger Hunt entry - "Rust in Peace"

Part of the gas meter in the backyard. It just caught my eye while Berklee was being uncooperative in getting her picture taken.

Rust, River, River, Rust...

Tagus River, Lisbon.

My favourite from time spent snapping new public art and offices in Temple Quay near The Dings, Bristol. The foreground is the public art - an archway in a 'rusty' metal finish - and the rainbow is the developer's branding on boards around the neighbouring development site.
