Haha We are visiting family in LA and were bumper to bumper for 2 1/2 hours. My husband told me to just wait until "rush-hour" traffic. LOL This shot is of the Pepsi truck in the lane next to us and is just for fun. Have a great weekend everyone!

I have photographed this scene many times and always love the feeling of total chaos as cars go in all directions and people try to cross between them. The rain and reflections on the wet road add to the effect.
Thank you for your visit, comment or fave - I really appreciate them all.

Downers Grove, Illinois train station at rush hour as a westbound train approaches and illuminates the side of an eastbound heading for Chicago. I didn't have time to adjust the camera settings and the man became the focal point of the shot. I'm ok with the result :-)
I thought these pair of turn signals were interesting with the city in the background as it approaches rush-hour traffic. I happened to be the first vehicle in line so I took a quick snapshot through the windshield as I wait for green. Shot in Centennial, Colorado just before sunrise.
I will show this image at the upcoming Spirit of Japan: Then and Now exhibition at the Art Ark Gallery in San Jose, California. Please mark your calendar and join the opening reception on August 10, 2-5pm. I'd love to meet you in person at that occasion!
I used to live and work Japan for many years. In 2016 we went back for a visit. This is the aptly named Shibuya Scramble Crossing in Tokyo, busy with car and foot traffic day and night.
I processed a balanced and a realistic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Bangkok is one of the world’s most congested cities, with severe traffic problems that can make it a challenge to get around the city during peak rush hours. Whether you’re visiting Bangkok or planning to stay long term, understanding the traffic is key to getting around quickly.
While Bangkok’s traffic is an annoyance, it’s a fairly predictable annoyance. Once you’re familiar with the morning and evening rush hour, specific roads to avoid and alternative transport options such as the BTS and MRT, you’ll be able to get around the city quickly and efficiently.
