Looking southeastwards along Beijing's East 3rd Ring Road (东三环路) from a pedestrian's bridge.
At 19:00 the evening rush hour traffic jam is still in full swing, because the average driving speed is notably lower than walking speed. But, owning and actually using a car is a matter of prestige in Beijing. Guess which direction is "homewards" for most of these people?

Have this driver finally figured out solution for our rush hour traffic ? Not really this special truck was surveying the railroad track as I reached the level crossing.
Taken on the overpass of Zhongxiao W. Road in Taipei, Taiwan. For the better result of traffic trails, this image was stacked up with two shots.

Having patience in the Tokyo rush hour is a must - you might very well come to a completely packed train, and the only thing you can do, is to wait for the next.

How to start the new year? Well, Happy New Year to All of you! Then...ok, what to do to improve your skills?? Ok, do not visit those places that you used already hundred or more times...work on your perspective skills...do not blame on your gear...keep safe and healthy and be happy with what you have. It could be much worse! Capture taken during one of many trips to Gdansk. Thanks, Udo.
This is rush hour March 2020 style. No traffic, no one walking, apart from your photographer on his daily government approved walk.

One of the last remaining R32 units at the time, headed uptown. The R32s were the first mass-produced stainless steel cars built for the New York City Subway in 1964 and 1965. The longest-lasting R32s were in service for almost 58 years.
Seemingly indifferent to the chaotic traffic and colorful canines below, a lone rider waits to board an evening L in Chicago's Loop.

I thought I'd take a bit of a break from my vacation shots and post something fun. I'll get back to them again :)
23:52 - In my back yard
(It was supposed to be "in my garden" but I've taken a liberty here :) I shot this on concrete in the back yard.
A shot taken at Trafalgar Square in London walking to the station on my way home. The light was low so tried to go for a slow shutter speed and get some blur to help convey a sense of movement, but trying to keep the driver as stationary in the frame as I could. Canon EOS 6D & EF 28-80mm f/2.8-4.0L
Caught in a rainstorm. I don't believe it could have been raining much harder.
This abstract looking image is a photo that I captured, through a windshield of a vehicle during a complete downpour.
The colourful light display was that of the rear lights of a bus, ahead in the traffic.
The image was caught between the swipes of the windshield wipers.
( For your information ...... I was the passenger )

We were inspired by Mojave511's recent upload to take an Easter drive out through the village of Gilberville and came across this "working" 1886-built covered bridge.
The bridge sports modern roofing materials and is supported by steel beams underneath, presumably since its 2010 rebuild. The road surface (and everything else) is still wood. The Ware–Hardwick Covered Bridge on Wikipedia.
