This Vanessa came out in 1982 on the red card. She has a white & blue painted on top, blue painted on undies, blue fabric shorts, white painted on socks & white tennis shoes. In packaged pics, it looks like she has some kind of black bag but i cannot remember what that might be nor have i found a clear enough pic to see.
I had this doll when it came out, she is hard to find. 2 of my favorite dolls broke when i was little, this one & another one. When they break at the pelvis area, that is a hard one to glue because it affects the bust part & legs. If i recall correctly, the short go to my doll & the doll came in an ebay lot. I had pieces of my doll & i have one leg in a bag as a matter of fact. I know i had the full doll but for some reason only the leg has been found.
Not the best photo, but I was so thrilled to see this guy. What caught my attention was the thunder of his hoofs. So wonderful to see wildlife running free.
Never been to the New Forest before...loved the ponies..this was taken from a moving car..so not great...no time to stop as time was short..
