Rule of Composition -
The subject is at one of the intersection points of the "tic tac toe".
Why it's a good photo -
The subject is isolated from any distractive elements. It also contrasts from the background, drawing attention to itself to the viewer.
How it could be improved -
The small light reflection on the subject itself could be edited out to prevent distraction from the main subject.
This is rule of thirds because the mushroom is not centered, but it is more towards the top left corner of the photo, where the first two lines in rule of thirds would intersect.
