For the prompt of "The Golden Rule" I chose to interpret the message visually as a metaphor for not only taking care of those around you, but taking care of one's environment and surroundings. On a smaller scale, the fundamentals of gardening are that if one takes care of the life within a garden, the garden will return the favor and provide care in the form of edible fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

I chose to leave the background white in order for the image to be used with transparency, as I believe that the circular frame of the illustration also communicates the theme of The Golden Rule.

On 26 January 2013 - The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Rule Britannia! concert featuring Welsh conductor Grant Llewellyn and British violinist Callum Smart. The British Consulate-General was proud to support the event as part of their Music is GREAT Britain week.

This is an example of rule of thirds because the picture follows the lines and boxes on the grid

Rules of Hypergraphy was an investigation into the concept of hypergraphy through an exhibition, a publication, a typeface, a workshop and an evening of performances. It was initiated in 2013 by Paul Gangloff, upon invitation of Extrapool. This book consists of contributions from Paul Gangloff, Marc Matter, Hans and Gretel Metzger, Karl Nawrot, Jörg Piringer, Roland Sabatier.

Not breaking bowling rules here but photography rules. Placing the scoring table smack in the middle of the photograph would normally be a no-no in the rules of composition. But there is so much symmetry with the scoring table and the lanes, the cross panels, the ceiling tiles and the tan seats... that it made sense to compose this photo this way.

These laminated Rules of Conduct are posted throughout the building. (Click on "All Sizes" in the toolbar above the image for a closer view.)

There are 24 rules set off with bullets. Number 7 directs you to another document, Seattle Public Library Policy #6g, which is not posted here. Number 17 directs you to the Seattle Public Library Administrative Procedure 070-APP-805, Food and Beverage Rule Guidelines. (These being only the guidelines, I presume the text of the actual Food and Beverage Rule also is elsewhere.)

Bullet Number 18 says you cannot bring an article into the library that measures more than 14 inches wide, 17 inches high, and 20 inches deep. No further explanation is offered. It is interesting to note that the size limit for airline carry-ons is 45 linear inches - that is, no carry-on's width, height, and depth added together can exceed 45 inches. Seattle Public Library's rule limits patrons to 51 linear inches. So, if it's only slightly larger than an airline carry-on, Seattle Public Library doesn't want you to bring it in.

Tower Drive In Theatre, located in Rule Texas is Closed! Depending on the website, this Drive In opened in either 1952 or 1955. Just 8/10s of a Mile North of Hwy 380 on Hwy 6.
