This picture consist of an object that is placed on the intersection of the natural point of viewers.
Why this is a good picture :
The object in this picture is interesting and different. The light that is illuminating from the object provides a unique effect to the picture, giving it a special element. The object is placed to look like as though it is staring at the viewers.
How can this be improved :
This picture would do better if the lighting in this picture is improved. The poor lighting failed to bring out the saturation of colours of this picture, making it look dull.

I'd go along with most of these "rules" with the exception of offering a "lady" my seat, as not only might women take offence at being described as "ladies", but the more equality-minded might reasonably consider it sexist for a man to offer up his seat (unless the woman was pregnant, of course, in which case a different set of rules apply).
One might also take issue with a number of the other rules for a variety of reasons, including the injunction to "Stand up straight", as it discriminates against those who are unable to do so. "Always make eye contact" is similarly problematic, as some cultures find eye contact disrespectful, if not downright invasive; and people with autism may feel overwhelmed by eye contact, as it can trigger high levels of anxiety and distress.

I've broken my rule by photographing the same 365 object two days running. When I decided to use the old bone I cast around for some other object as a foil. I considered laying the bone on leather, but then time ran out. Thanks to the amateur forensic archaeologists who commented on the first image I knew what tI should have used - a broken rule!

RULES OF THE LIVE QUIZ

Another old photo I dug out of the archives. I cut off Dan in the picture because i was trying to get a shot of both BNSF SD60M's, but screwed it up. I know Ryan is the guy leaning on his bike, but I can't tell who the other guy is, either Nick or Jim.
Funny thing is today Dan has disappeared, and hasnt been seen since who knows when.

During a hike in the Monaldleith we came across a small bothy that wasn't marked on the OS map. Inside there was just about enough room to swing a cat, but pinned up on a wall was a set of bothy rules. I don't necessarily agree with the above but it did make me giggle.

The history of the Würzburg Residence
Earlier, the provincial town of Würzburg was ruled by spiritual rulers. Over centuries, the Würzburg prince-bishops had resided in the castle Marienberg high above the city. But this castle, built after the Thirty Years' War into a modern fortress, could not meet the enormously increased requirements of the 18th century in terms of representation and comfort. A first city palace because of worrying structural defects had proved a total mistaken investment. It was never moved into the palace.
Johann Philipp Franz von Schönborn (Würzburg prince-bishop 1719-1724) wanted this mistake to be too fussy in the planning not repeat. He wanted to create something bigger. He began immediately after his accession to the throne in September 1719 with the planning of the new residence, whose foundation stone yet a year later on 22 May 1720 was laid. The prince-bishop died, however, in August 1724.
His successor Christoph Franz, Freiherr (Baron) von Hutten, who ruled from 1724-1729, did for the unfinished Residence building only reluctantly the strictly necessary and he is not worth mentioning.
After him Friedrich Karl von Schönborn 1729-1746 became Prince-Bishop of Würzburg. To him, it was something of a duty of honor that he owed his brother and his family to complete the shell of the residence, which he finally succeeded in 1744.
But also the uncle of the two builders Lothar Franz von Schönborn (Archbishop of Mainz, Elector and Chancellor and Bamberg Prince-Bishop) promoted until his death in 1724 the construction of the residence. He was the most powerful member of the House Schönborn.
The Würzburg Residence consequently readily can be described as a "Schönborn project".
It was Lothar Franz who was responsible for the construction management of the Würzburg Residence. He recognized the unusual talent of a young man named Balthasar Neumann in terms of civil architecture and recommended him to his nephew. Neumann in 1720 got the position of site manager. He kept it until a brief dismissal under Prince-Bishop Anselm Franz von Ingelheim (1746-1749), who was only interested in money making and whose death was mourned by no one until his death in 1753. As in Würzburg death the builders had changed three times, Neumann was the only one lucky enough to be able to be associated as an artist with this construction all his life.
It was the Prince-Bishop Carl Philip of Greiffenclau, who appointed the Venetian Giovanni Battista Tiepolo to Würzburg. He replaced Anselm Franz von Ingelheim in 1749 as Prince Bishop and remained until 1754 in office. It was he who rehabilitated Baltasar Neumann again as construction director. Greiffenclau was determined to equip his Residence building with the works of the best painter he could get. The primary idea of Tiepolo probably was gaining money. Both, client and artist, perhaps united the pursuit of sustainable fame too.
So it came to pass that the famous Venetian Baroque painter in the years 1750-1753 the ceiling of the staircase and the Imperial Hall painted. In addition, the Venetian met in Würzburg equals, such as the brilliant plasterer Antonio Bossi, the sculptor Wolfgang von der Auwera and the painter Franz Ignatz Roth.
The 1779 finished residence and its further fate
After 60 years of building history, the Würzburg Residenz was finally completed in 1779.
Apart from a few minor incidents, the Resizenz remained undamaged until Würzburg was destroyed by an air raid on 16 March 1945 exactly one week before the cessation of the strategic Allied air raids. After the war, Würzburg was the most destructed city of Germany: in 20 minutes, 90 % of the built-up area were destroyed in the city center, 5 % of the population died in the night of bombing. In the residence, all the combustible materials went up in flames: the roof trusses, the ceilings above and between the individual floors, windows, doors and floors. Standing remained essentially the outer and intermediate walls and the vaulted areas, namely the ground floor with entrance hall, the staircase, the White Hall, the Imperial Hall and the Royal Chapel and thus the precious frescoes by Tiepolo. We owe this exclusively to the ingenious curvature technique by Balthasar Neumann.
38 years after the disaster, the Würzburg Residenz is now reconstructed in its essential parts and in addition to the Aachen Cathedral and the Cathedral of Speyer as the third memorial of the Federal Republic of Germany by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage put under special protection.
