My best friends daughter Ruby is such a cutee this was taken just after she woke up from a little siesta she looked so sleepy with her hair all messed up.

This location was built and opened in 1997 and closed in fall 2020.
This high chair has been in my family for generations. It felt good to see Ruby run her little fingers over those marks and scratches that were made by me, my mom, my aunt, my uncle, Max, and probably other cousins and friends.

This location was built and opened in 1998.
Ruby was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, and graduated from Culpeper County High School. While on a vacation in Hawaii, she met Les Horvath, whom she later married, and moved with him to California, where he had his dentistry practice. Leslie, who was a quarterback/halfback for Ohio State University's football team, was the Heisman Trophy recipient in 1944. While in California, she worked in Les' dental office and attended the Glendale Community College. She also helped the Cabrini Literary Guild in Beverly Hills, California, raise thousands of dollars by modeling clothes at benefit functions. She served as president of this philanthropy for 2 years, and oversaw its granting of scholarships to needy women all over the world.
Ruby is a descendent of the 1717 Second Colony settler Hans Jacob Öhler (Aylor). Her grandfather was Clifton Aylor and her father was Calton Aylor. Ruby's complete Germanna ancestry is documented in Germanna Record #12. She has Aylor, Snyder and Tanner ancestors. She has been a member of the Germanna Foundation for 7 years, is a regular attendee at the Foundation's annual reunions in July, and has attended three Foundation summer trips to Germany, in 2004, 2005, and 2006. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Germanna Association and serves on its Reunion Committee.
She now lives in Culpeper, Virginia, and for the past several years, has completely refurbished and restored to its former elegance her 75-year-old home in the city. She has worked as a volunteer for the Culpeper Regional Hospital Auxiliary for more than 15 years, working in its thrift and coffee shops, and she currently serves on its board. She is president of the Culpeper Christian Women's Club, and serves as a volunteer at the Sheltering Arms Homeless Shelter, a social services and welfare organization in Orange, Virginia. Ruby also is a member of the Lake of the Woods Church choir, and serves on the travel committee of the Lake of the Woods local AARP chapter. Ruby has one son, Tim Brown, and seven grandchildren (Shane, Christopher, twins Brian and Bruce, Nicole, Samantha, and Buster).
