Roxy is old. She lost her sight and most of her hearing since I was home last. She hasn't got the hang of being blind, because she still tries to walk/run at her normal pace.
The now closed (New) Roxy Disco, Arundel Gate, Sheffield, UK by Andrew.
This is one part of the EPIC Building comprising car park, cinema, shops and access between two levels of the city centre. After closing as a disco, the Roxy became a temporary home for St. Thomas' Church and is now empty again after they moved on to Philadelphia (Sheffield!).

Photographed with a Koni-Omega Rapid M rangefinder camera with f3.5 90mm Super Omegon using Agfa Vista 100, expired Mar 2009 colour 35mm film negative film, 24-exposures, adapted for use in the 220 back .—Light metering through a Nikon D300.—Processing: C-41 development in by a commercial lab.—Scanned with Epson Perfection V700, using Silverfast Negafix.
Just a pity that the development of this roll of Agfa Vista 100 has these red stains around the sprocket holes and the film edge...it sort of ruins the idea of edge to edge sprockethole photography...but maybe adds another dimension to it...not too sure about it

The Roxy Theater on Meridian Street in North Edgefield is a part of an underutilized neighborhood commercial node that once included a pharmacy, grocery, and other retail space. The Roxy operated from 1937-1959. Segregated for whites only, the Roxy closed in 1959 before Nashville‟s theaters were integrated. According to an article in The East Nashvillian, “…the Roxy Theater opened in late 1937 in a former drugstore facing Wilburn Street. Located on a streetcar route that ran down Meridian, the drugstore building dated from 1914.”
Since its closing, the Roxy has been used for church services and “a self-service Laundromat called the Roxy Speedwash.” It has also been used for storage, a short-lived music studio, a performance center, daycare for children, but now remains unused. Mired in legal and financial troubles, the property has been vacant for several years.
Roxy is the toughest member of The Misfits; however, she can be kind and sensitive on occasion. Roxy doesn't take negative attitude or criticism well from others. Her anger issues appear to be caused mostly by being out of touch with what's going on, with things passing over her head. When she's in the right state of mind a clearer personality emerges; the tough girl with a smart mind, but also a girl that shows signs of vulnerability because she had a very bad childhood.
Roxy is a "hands on" kind of girl. If it needs kicking, thumping on or fiddling about with, Roxy's the go-to girl, but delicate is not a word in her vocabulary. Despite her lack of time for education and illiteracy, she's far from being stupid.
Roxy is an awesome looking mix.

This is the Roxy Theater on Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. It was still on use as a movie theater in the early 1970's. It has since been restored as a community theater and is the site for many plays.
I was testing the camera's placement while Josh was getting dressed for lunch at "The Bearded Dragon".

Roxy's birthday is coming up (September 11th) I thought I would make her a picture. Nothing fancy just something to remember her by. I also wrote this poem for her!
Up at the Rainbow Bridge you will stay, forever and ever until the day
I think about you all the time, soon we will be together one last time
When we meet please don't leave me again, because when I get up there I want to be with you through the beginning to the end
