This is our friend's puppy, Roxy, Affinity Treasure in the Rox. She came over to do some field training and she really got into retrieving pigeons and ducks.

we spent Christmas day at Ben and Abby's. The start to the day was not good. At 9 am a mad driver crashed into five cars outside Ben and Abby's house, including theirs, which was hit by a van and landed up hitting a tree. By the time we arrived the wreckage had been cleared, the police had gone and thankfully no-one had been present on the scene at the time of the crash - even the perpetrator made off on foot - so there were no casualties, apart from cars. But Ben's 10 year old Audi had just had a new gearbox and had been a car which had been given much attention, so if it is written off, which is likely, he will have lost a substantial amount of money.
However, the good news was that Max and Jane werre with us - and we had a lovely Christmas day.

so far, incredibly difficult to take pic of Roxy because she is on someone's lap, or being held and getting an angle without odd bits of adult bodies is difficult. Working on it.

The artwork was designed by Peter Saville. Avalon continued the tradition for Roxy Music albums to feature images of women on the cover artwork. Bryan Ferry's girlfriend (and soon to be wife) Lucy Helmore appeared on the album cover.
The scene was captured by photographer Neil Kirk at dawn, looking out over Lough Ugga Beag, Connemara. A robed figure wearing a mediaeval helmet is pictured from behind facing a body of water. A hooded Merlin falcon is perched on the gloved hand, evoking King Arthur's last journey to the mysterious land of Avalon.
In November 1982, Bryan Ferry told the LA Weekly's Don Waller: “[Avalon] is the Isle of Enchantment, a fantasy place, a very romantic place… I thought this was the most romantic, dream-like album I’d ever done. I started working on the songs for Avalon on the west coast of Ireland, on the very lake that’s used in the photograph on the album cover".

Dumb as a stump but yet still so fabulous.It's easy with a chump like Eric to kick around. This fashion has functioning pockets and a magenta scalloped ruffle underneath.It also has rhinestones! Who doesn't love rhinestones?! Nobody whose name rhymes with Fliberacce, that's for sure.
This fashion won't be up in the shop till the end of June. I'm taking a little break from etsy to make my brother's fiancé a wedding dress! I was really excited to share photos of my recent endeavors before I sign off though. Visit my shop here:

Roxy's hair is very fine and it tangles easily. I spent quite a while gently teasing it out . . . and it was surprisingly long. I suggested to Abby she might consider cutting it . . . and five minutes later, here she is . . . hardly aware that it had been cut. Certainly she didn't lose any strength!
