Romantic trims and millinery flowers that might have been hidden away in a faded wallpaper box. Perhaps items saved from a wedding of long ago.

Live In Limbo Review

Just relaxing with Cecille at one of the most romantic places in SL

Description

This is genuine BLUE MOON QUARTZ faceted gem from Brazil. It has fancy flower cut. Jewel is 16mm in diameter. This fancy cut gem required handmade mounting and setting. Necklace is unique one-of-a-kind hand made.

The moonstone is associated with the moon and was the stone of the goddess Diana. Stone of wishes, intuition, emotions awakening and balance. Some people think it is a feminine stone, because it is associated with women monthly circle, gardening and fertility. That is way I piked flower cut of gem and designed very feminine and flowery necklace. The look of necklace has bit of vintage and romantic style, but the patterned chain and hammered handmade fastener & center leaf make modern/urban twist to design. It has classic polished white silver finish, which look nice and ready to wear on Wedding Day or romantic Date.

Just great for summer day wear too!

MEASUREMENT:

Necklace Length: 25"(63.5 cm) long

Pendant: 0.6" (16 mm) wide, 1.2" (30 mm) long.

Fastener: 0.7'' (18mm) in diameter

Stone: 0.6'' (16mm) in diameter

Romance in pink

This design is based and inspired on the beautiful and wonderful, handmade lampwork bead made by Holly's Folly.

When I look at the Focal bead I think of a beautiful garden with pink flowers.

I’ve chosen beads and other findings to match the pink and green tones in the focal bead. I made some beaded beads myself with pink beads with a green bead inside, inspired of the deep green color inside the focal bead.

I also used chain and findings in sterling silver, some swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and other glass beads and leaves.

The necklace is 80 cm long excl. the pendant, which is 10,5 cm. The focal bead is almost 4 cm long. The bracelet is 21 cm long and the earrings are 3 cm long without the earhook.

Having a second look through my original files from my first My Chemical Romance show almost 4 years ago and I've found some pictures I quite like. The quality is bad, but they have really nice memories attatched!

Something magical about 2 lovers gaze.

trying out light effects

I was on the Santa Monica Pier shooting photos of the Ferris Wheel from a number of angles. The sun was setting so I took a moment to walk over and observe it. I saw this couple whose age I would estimate is in the late seventies or early eighties. They were sitting there holding hands and watching the sunset. The love and the romance was obviouslly there. I couldn't pass up taking the shot.

The Island Romance is a familiar sight on Casco Bay with its open upper deck fitted with a jaunty canopy over the stern. There are benches for seating, and tables can be set up for a buffet and bar service on the enclosed lower level. Bands love to play on the upper deck. Depending on the event, the Island Romance can comfortably accommodate 150-175 people.

The Great Romance

John sees a beautiful bride! And he sees a wonderful city! Together they come down to Earth. The "Great Beauty" and Babylon were symbols of all that is wrongand evil. The bride and the city are symbolic of all that is good and holy.

Ripon Cathedral. Threads through Revelation is a spectacular display of textile art, showing many images from the book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible. Jaqui Parkinson created all fourteen single handed. (Maybe she used both hands)

Romance In Bloom

This very delicate and romantic floral piece is a lovely accessory for any Bride. Variations of ivory, light blue, purple and periwinkle create this colorful design. So feminine and romantic with meticulously hand cut layers of multiple Silk Chiffon petals creating the accent side flowers. Most of this design is handmade with the exception of the one center piece petal. Vintage inspired ivory stamen are mixed with Swarovski Pearls and Crystals on anti-tarnish silver wire. Glowing in the center piece is my signature jeweled spray. Opalescent Freshwater pearls shine against the shimmering Swarovski crystals and rhinestones. Truly an one of a kind piece. Flower approximately 3 1/2 inches at the widest point. Alligator prong clip secures this piece in any hair style.

Annual Belle Isle Fundraiser Nets $140,000 for Future Island Improvement ProjectsPolish the Jewel Celebrates 10 Years of Passion and Radiance of Detroit’s Island Gem

DETROIT (Oct. 7, 2014) - In mid-September, more than 400 of metro Detroit’s most prominent civic and business leaders spent the afternoon embracing the memories and promise of Detroit’s gleaming island gem at Romancing the Isle, the 10th Anniversary Polish the Jewel Belle Isle Legacy Luncheon. Held at the Belle Isle Casino, the annual Polish the Jewel fundraiser offers an afternoon of networking in support of the Belle Isle Conservancy. This year’s event raised more than $140,000.

“Polish the Jewel punctuates what makes Belle Isle so special, the supporters and volunteers who are so dedicated to the island and all it has to offer,” said Michele Hodges, president of the Belle Isle Conservancy. “So much has happened over the last 10 years of Polish the Jewel events that has breathed new life into the island, and I look forward to seeing the exceptional opportunity that will be uncovered over the next 10 years.”

Commemorating the 10th anniversary event, Hodges recognized Belle Isle Conservancy chair and Polish the Jewel event founder Sarah Earley for her extraordinary dedication to the revitalization of Belle Isle Park.

“Sarah was the primary force behind the very first luncheon a decade ago,” Hodges said. “Not only has she been instrumental in developing the luncheon as a tradition we look forward to each year, but she has also been one of Belle Isle’s greatest supporters throughout its transformation.”

Over the past nine years, Polish the Jewel has raised more than $2.5 million to successfully fund two major construction projects on Belle Isle Park - enhancements to the island’s famed Sunset Point, as well as a historically accurate restoration of the horse stable roof. Proceeds from the 2014 Polish the Jewel will support further improvement projects, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, to ensure the island sparkles for years to come.

Rounding out the afternoon’s activities was a silent auction that raised $19,000 from an assortment of artwork, jewelry, fine wines and more, donated by businesses and retailers across metro Detroit.

Sponsors for the 2014 event included DTE Energy, MASCO Foundation, Sarah and Tony Earley, Franco Public Relations Group, Baker Tilly, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ford Motor Company Fund, Ruth Roby Glancy, Lear Corporation and St. John Providence Hospital.
