My Chemical Romance on stage at the Phoenix in Toronto as the supporting act for Reggie & the Full Effect, August 26, 2003.
My first impression of romance in India came from Bollywood. I was pretty sure that everyone fell in love then spent a long time dancing around a grapefruit tree. There are other dancers involved, nearby, of course, as well as a series of fountains, slow-motion cattle, Hinduesque yodeling.
But then, after being there, I saw romance was the same as just about everywhere else. I did capture this couple together, exploring a temple in the middle of Delhi. Enjoy!

In honor of Valentine's Day which is fast approaching! This was taken at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC last Sunday.
Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.

Río Duero, río Duero,
nadie a acompañarte baja,
nadie se detiene a oír
tu eterna estrofa de agua.
Indiferente o cobarde
la ciudad vuelve la espalda.
No quiere ver en tu espejo
su muralla desdentada.
Tú, viejo Duero, sonríes
entre tus barbas de plata,
moliendo con tus romances
las cosechas mal logradas.
Y entre los santos de piedra
y los álamos de magia
pasas llevando en tus ondas
palabras de amor, palabras.
Quién pudiera como tú,
a la vez quieto y en marcha,
cantar siempre el mismo verso
pero con distinta agua.
Río Duero, río Duero,
nadie a estar contigo baja,
ya nadie quiere atender
tu eterna estrofa olvidada,
sino los enamorados
que preguntan por sus almas
y siembran en tus espumas
palabras de amor, palabras.

"And what's romance? Usually, a nice little tale where you have everything As You Like It, where rain never wets your jacket and gnats never bite your nose and it's always daisy-time" (D. H. Lawrence)
Photographing the photographers. With the waves coming in at a fairy decent rate, it was hard to get a shot where the people were holding still long enough. After several attempts I finally got the shot and they soon left as the tide was coming in.
This is an image I shot along the Oregon Coast the night before my Oregon Coast Winter Workshop started... It's pretty amazing how the condition in Oregon can be so good in December. One of the reason I always like to visit in the winter.
Luna Flamenca.
