Stopping off at one of my favourite sections along the Crown Range Road, driving out of Queenstown towards Wanaka. A little bit of snow over the tussocks adds an extra dimension to the rolling landscape.

I'd parked close by, and in a fit of energy, decided I could climb to the peak of the mountain over the road. After all, we were already so high, it didn't look that far...

Climbing up the ridgeline at first, things seemed OK. A little tough, but not too bad. Getting past the ridge and into the increasing snow was a little more tricky. The closer you get to the top, the more it disappears. About 2/3rds of the way there, I gave up.

Google Earth tells me that from the car to where I stopped is a climb of about 150m, and from where I stopped to the top is more than that again over a shorter distance. Ouch. It didn't *look* that far, but it's easy in a place like this to be deceived by just how enormous the landscape is around you.

U.S. Marshals-led, Operation Rolling Thunder made significant strides in enhancing public safety in the greater Oklahoma City area. Over the course of 60 days, 463 fugitives were apprehended as part of this critical mission.

The operation, a component of the Marshals nationwide initiative known as Operation Triple Beam, yielded impressive results including the seizure of 69.886 kg of narcotics, 178 firearms confiscated, and the successful recovery of 4 missing children. These accomplishments underscore the dedication and effectiveness of our law enforcement agencies working toward safer communities.

2nd attempt at rolling shots. I was on my way home from selling one of my old lenses and decided to stop off in an empty lot to have a quick go. Still lacking a boom arm, I just tried a couple odd spots on the coupe but kept it limited to the window's since the car is uber dirty (you can tell in this one!) and I didn't want to risk marring the paint.

This insect was actually "rolling" around in the pollen of this poppy. It was truly comical and amazing to witness!!

During November of last year we flew to Planeta Rica. When we were there the rice that had been planted earlier in the year was ready for harvesting. This is a look over the rolling hills of the farm and part of what they were going to harvest.

I got to thinking about some of my old vinyl records this evening, i forgot how i had some picture disks also! This one from the Rolling Stones has 2 songs on it, "She was Hot" and "I Think I`m Going Mad". Back from1983. The colors from the flip side, specifically that dark ring you see has bled through to the front over the years.
