This is on Alki Beach at the Duwamish Head in West Seattle, Washington. It is on beautiful Puget Sound. It looks like it could be warm but it was actually quite cold, not Minnesota cold but biting. Alki was the birthplace of Seattle. The Duwamish Indians lived here and helped the settlers. Read about it:

On Sunday, after talking about it all summer, Dan and I finally went to a baseball game: another Somerset Patriots game. The sun was hot, the beer was cold (even if it's a beer that's not a favorite, I chose this one specifically because it hasn't been featured in this project yet), the company was happy, the hot dogs were tasty, and I didn't even hate the old guy who was heckling me in my Mets jersey. Much.
Thousands of bikers, riders, motorcyclists, supporters of the troops and on-lookers, gathered in Washington, DC, for Rolling Thunder 2011. This marked the 24th year that the event has been held during Memorial Day weekend, in our nation's capital.
