I didn't initially upload this pic from my trip to Mt. Washington but it keeps catching my eye. I just really like the framing here of the southern Presidential Range with the clouds rolling through and the path cutting across.

Locomotive 344, an AC44CW built by GE in 1998 leads the way west past the Prince train station. Where they were headed, I'm not sure, but it was great to see them pass by while we were there checking out the cool C&O station there.
Curl ice cream step-3: rolling the frozen ice cream sheet into curls. I am on the long walk from the metro station to the Namba- Dotonbori food street in Osaka, Japan. I decided to pop in at an ice cream parlour to enjoy a cup of curl ice cream, something I've seen rave reviews about but never got round to trying. So this then is step- 3 of the process- the nicely beaten and flavour blended ice cream sheet is now rolled into curls. The base plate is refrigerated so the ice cream sheet remains frozen and solid. Once the rolling is done, the curls are placed into a cup and toppings put on. See previous pictures earlier in this album for step 1 and step 2 respectively. From last year in Palouse country in SE Washington state above Uniontown. Other people in our group had been here before. A fence practically all the way around this place was made of a variety of wheels welded together. The barn (to the left of the shed) has now been turned into a arts and crafts place. Some beautiful watercolors were on display inside.
The Wagon Wheel Fence and Barn are located just north of Uniontown on Hwy 195. www.byways.org/explore/byways/54775/places/62933/

The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. The first settled line-up consisted of Brian Jones on guitar and harmonica, Ian Stewart on piano, Mick Jagger on lead vocals, harmonica and maracas, Keith Richards on guitar and vocals, Bill Wyman on bass and Charlie Watts on drums. Since Wyman's retirement in 1993, the band's full members have been Jagger, Richards, Watts and guitarist Ronnie Wood who joined in 1975, replacing Mick Taylor (who followed Jones).
