one of many roller rinks called Skateworld. Located between Laurel Delaware and Seaford Delaware It opened in November 1980 and is still operating. The building was a shirt factory prior to becoming a roller rink.
Some more progress on my last book page. I´ve been drawing this while having King Of The Hill episodes running on the side and now this piece is forever connected with the theme song in my head ;)

This reminded me of when I was a kid and would dwadle. My Mum would tell me to get my skates on. .At the age of 5 I never really understood what she meant because I didn't have any
skates :)
Did you know the first patented roller skate was introduced in 1760 by Belgian inventor John Joseph Merlin. It wasn't much more than an ice skate with wheels where the blade goes, They were hard to steer and hard to stop because they didn't have brakes and as such were not very popular. Also skating 6 miles per hour burns 600 calories
