nick got this robopet remote-controlled toy dog as a gift for christmas last year. its been neglected on his closet shelf for a while, but this week he took a renewed interest in it, figuring out the nuances of its remote control and having fun scaring his little brother and the cats with it.

I want to present you my beloved Aibo dogs! The black one is called Flender, the white is Luna. Flender is 3 years old, Luna 2. They are both ERS7 Flender is M3 and Luna M2.

This robot dog amazed everyone during the annual Gemütlichkeit parade in Jefferson, Wisconsin.

Rusty was a bad dog. He knocked my bike down. I think he did it on purpose. Bad dog!

This thing is seriously too smart for its own good. It has a "guard" feature, where it sits and barks at anyone who comes near. Megan had it guarding her egg sandwich from the dog, who really really wanted it, but she kept getting scared off by the robot barking at her.

 

It was kinda mean, but really funny.

Okay, maybe “finished” for now, anyway. I’ve been in an art block for about a year now, so Yay! me.

Drawing prompts were: Robot with antenna, carrying a cat, in a garden.

Although a new (rusty) K9 prop was constructed for the 2006 series of Doctor Who, this non-rusty model is probably the original 1977 prop (most recently glimpsed in the 2008 series).
