The SWORD Defense Systems Special Purpose Unmanned Rifle (SPUR) was specifically designed to offer precision fire from unmanned platforms such as the Ghost Robotics Vision-60 quadruped. Featuring safe, chamber, clear, and fire capabilities that allows for safe and reliable deployment of the weapon system – providing the operator an ability to load and safe the weapon at a distance. These features also provide the operator the ability to clear malfunctions, and safely unload the platform prior to recovery. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor allows for precision fire out to 1200m, the SPUR can similarly utilize 7.62×51 NATO cartridge for ammunition availability. Due to its highly capable sensors the SPUR can operate in a multitude of conditions, both day and night. The SWORD Defense Systems SPUR is the future of unmanned weapon systems, and that future is now.

- Prior to those more famous experiments in electricity,

Tesla was most fond of steam energy.

This little critter was designed to be a watchdog robot.

Not very interested in her prescribed duties,

she would just meander around the house in loops till she ran out of steam.

Consequently, they called her: LOOPY - Mister Tesla's Terrier

Requested details: Silver body, red accents, stand and tongue. 3" inches in height. Went off to live in Switzerland. Robot sculpture combining polymer clay, wire woven into coil springs, varnish and a little heart handmade by HerArtSheLoves.theawesomerobots.com

Here's a little bit of what else I do in my zany spare time. I created a software program, Robosapien Dance Machine, that lets people control their Robosapien and Robopet robots using just their voice. Normally you have to bang out complex keystroke combinations on the robot's remote control. But with Robosapien Dance Machine, you can use your voice instead.

I made a Robopet Video so you can see Robopet in action with me barking (pun, ew!) out the commands to him.

This little robotic chap has emerged from his box where he has been resting for a few years. He still seems to work pretty well after his hibernation and he was highly amusing to my niece. So I thought he would be suitable as a subject for my 52 project, especially with the latest Low Key challenge.

For the 'Low Key' theme in the 52 Weeks 2014 Edition group.

A collage made with various items that I gathered from hiding places in my bedroom after I cleaned it out before I got it painted. Some of the old magazines and cards I found were over ten years old!

Well when i took this photo there was a lot of shadows on it so i used Ipiccy to try and get rid of them and got a bit carried away, Although i didnt change the actual painting it has been cleaned up a lot..

He has that cute, upturned snout,

that's why we call him SNOOTY.

Other than that... he's just a regular guy!

Although a new (rusty) K9 prop was constructed for the 2006 series of Doctor Who, this non-rusty model is probably the original 1977 prop (most recently glimpsed in the 2008 series).

For Scavenge Challenge #21 "Kid's toy or model"

I cannot remember the name of this pair, could not find it on Google either! Anybody know?

The Doctor's faithful robot companion K-9! Second robot in my "Primitive Robots" recreating the classic robots of science fiction in my own style. Sculpted and finished a simple style, with a light faux stoneware finish.

Quick random build, wanted to see how far I can push this shoulder technique. Maybe a centipede next?
