Rig with Fuji F30 and Gopro2 mounted. It is a Brooxes servo rig (pans in approx 30 degree increments and fires shutter every 10 secs). Gopro is autonomous - fires at user set interval - I'll use 2 or 5 secs.
This is my new rig for the Canon 720is.I wanted to make it as small as possible.Total weight is 600grams camera being 280 grams The box I used was an idea I had to try out. The camera will work with CHDK Intervalometer, but not USB CHDK, as the cable to the USB port on the camera is where the mounting screw is.Will fix that on the next one.
I have used belt drive instead of gears, as it is more flexible. The pan works well, but the tilt does not work with the Canon, but does with my Ricoh R6.The Canon is more heavy.
Waiting for right wind condition to try it out.
My previous Picavet was about 100 grams heavy. This one is only 33 grams and can be used for multiple rigs.
You'll have to bore out the top and bottom halves of the short billet wire holders to accomodate a 1/4"x20 - 1" long flat head machine screw. I used cold shoes from my umbrella holders to mount the LED lights. If your lights have 1/4" screw holes, then bolting them directly into the frame will be MUCH more secure. The rig is based on Brooxes Utility Frame, the one that is used for the BEAK.
This rig uses 2 standard servos (one of them is modified for endless rotation), a standard R/C system, a gentLED Duo for shutter and zoom and a gent360 Anti Creep. The only special component is a 7.4 V lithium Polymer battery and its voltage converter.
Weight: only 333 grams (0.7 lbs).

My rig for both facial animation and my final project (hence the full body)
I put an ik_fk blend option on the arms as I've used ik's on the arms before and i didn't like them, it may have been down to lack of experience or possibly a bad rig, but i thought I'd try something different this time, (whilst also having the option to resort back if necessary).
The rest of the rig is pretty standard and seems to be working efficiently. Now on to skinning.....

Composite photo to show extent of oscillation and stabilization sequence, in practice this happens at launch over the first 5m of line paid out; I have superimposed the 4 movements as if at the same spot. Wind speed 8mph, the lifter is the Sutton Flowform 30. This suspension is based on a very short (34cm) pivot bar with a pendulum length of 113cm. The movements take about 2s each. Mass =856g.

The top view gives a better idea of how the camera's orientation is maintained. There is a small angle bracket that is locked on the ground that keeps the camera pointing down. All the points at which the rig contacts the camera are covered in green felt.
The Stavros S Niarchos is a British brig-rigged tall ship owned and operated by the Tall Ships Youth Trust. She is primarily designed to provide young people with the opportunity to undertake voyages as character-building exercises, rather than pure sail-training. She is also used for adult voyages and holidays, which help subsidise the operation of the ship.
In the late 1990s the two schooners (Malcolm Miller and Sir Winston Churchill) then owned by the Tall Ships Youth Trust (then called the Sail Training Association) were showing their age and becoming increasingly expensive to maintain. The hulls for the two new brigs (the Stavros and her sister ship, the Prince William) were obtained half-completed from another project in Germany. These were transported to Appledore Ship Yards in Devon, where they were modified to the TSYT's requirements, and fitted out. She was completed in January 2000. The rig was designed by Michael Willoughby.
