Formed on the 19th June 1981 with a mandate to preserve, promote and provide racing for cars with a competition history, the Historic Sports & Racing Car Association has around 900 members.
Since its inception, the Association has promoted around 100 Historic Race meetings, along with providing driver training days, technical days, social events, and all those activities related to being the only motor-sport and heritage based racing car club in the state of New South Wales.
The Tasman Revival meeting is one of the activities promoted by the Club.
FERRARI 290 MM - Revival 2011

Designed for the 1956 Mille Miglia and as a replacement for the 860 Monza, the 290MM was mounted with a V12 engine with dual ignition and dry sump derived from the 4.5-litre Grand Prix. Even though this engine could be described as belonging to Lampredi school, its bore and stroke measurements were really more reminiscent of Colombo’s V12 than anything else.
The car was an immediate success. In fact, Castellotti not only drove it home first in the Mille Miglia followed by two 860 Monzas piloted by Collins and Musso, but it also took fourth in the same race with Fangio at the wheel.

I visited the Goodwood Revival in West Sussex on Sunday 10/09/2023. The annual 3-day event is a celebration of iconic vehicles and fashion from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, staged at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit. The Stagecoach 902 service runs from Chichester Railway Station using mainly historic vehicles, this year totalling eight. There were other visiting vintage buses to be seen plus a good few former buses inside the event. A jolly good show!

Knightshayes Court, Devon.
"One of the finest surviving Gothic Revival houses, built in the lush landscape of mid Devon, Knightshayes Court is a rare example of the work of the eccentric and inspiring architect William Burges. Built for the grandson of pioneer lace-maker John Heathcoat in 1869, the house is an exciting architectural experience, with extraordinary 'medieval' romantic interiors, rich decoration and ceramics.
