After having looked at it on my computer screen, I realized I found the original version incomplete and..kind of boring. Because of this I added more elements. There is always the risk of overdoing a piece and I was concerned I may do that, but I feel satisfied with this outcome.

Although i've made a fair amount of watercolor paintings I still I feel as if I am still trying to find my voice. Each painting I've been doing has been an experiment. I suppose that is true with most art I make, but it has been more so with these watercolors. Overall I feel satisfied with what I have made, yet feel I still haven't figured out how to create the aesthetic experience I am searching for with watercolors. I don't feel I have done this with any other medium, but I have gotten closer.
