The other one was a bit thick so to save ink and pain and altogether make it look better, I thinned out the sides and made them more pointed. I think this version looks more like someone wrote it, too. See first version

I take the photography the way it is composed because this is a revise portrait. I think the interesting part of this photography is the way he wear the scarve (which i don't know why he wear it like that). The emotion I am trying to convey in this photo is, i don't know, serious? I use 1/30 shutter speed because this shutter speed is much better for lighting up his face. I use 125 ISO because I took it when I am outside, and I want to have a feeling of blurred out background (which it doesnt.) I choose cloudy as my black and white balance because I took it during a cloudy day.
