Newport Corporation Transport 29 (GDW 96), Leyland Titan PD2/3 fitted with Bruce H30/26R body, new 11/50.
I think in this image number 29 was withdrawn following an accident in January 1963. Bus 27 alongside wears the revised 50/50 livery introduced in 1964.

I decided to do a hamburger drop down for the menu since it was so long. I really enjoyed the web design project and hope to improve.
** I'm redoing the web design project this time and then the non-profit / Mural Arts campaign for the other.
Revised watercolor. I was not happy with the original painting. It was all too much the same value and the barn looked flat where it should have looked 3D. It did not have a real center of interest or focal point. I don't know for sure if I improved it or not but it does look different.
The first of WCRC seasonal Santa special ran today ( 25/11/18) on a revised itinerary from Lancaster to Carlisle & return via Shap as there were operational / pathing problems on the Carnforth circuit route
The train was originally rostered for 8F 48151 a 50 MPH restricted loco on NR metals and although traffic levels on the WCML are not as intense on a Sunday the train would require a pathing stop in the down loop at Oxenholme to allow service trains to pass it.
With the passage of the Birmingham - Glasgow VT service the next train before 1Z37 should have been a TPE service but this was 19 late at Brock so 1Z37 which had been held at Oxenholme was given the road- In due course 35018 British India Line (75 MPH restricted) came roaring up the bank, with a very well patronised train. Class 47760 was attached at the rear to perform the reversal at Carlisle
