Reverse Macro with 14-42mm kit lens

Bought a reversing ring for my camera... wish it locked into place.

reverse macro with 18-55 and minolta 50mm f1.4.

Yep it's a kiwi fruit, real close!

a cone found in the forest

I took these this morning from my garden. Used reverse macro with my 18-55mm lens to get these shots. always just hand held :)

My Daughter loved this frog. despite the previous picture in the photostream - must've caught him 4 or 5 times - and, as you can see tried to make good use of the capture in spite of Caits demands :-)

Pepper seeds.

This was done using a conon 40D with the 18-55mm lens attached. Then a minolta 50mm f1.4 hand held on the front reversed.

Since there is still freezing rain falling outside, I took out my marbles and took some reverse macro images of them. I think they turned out pretty neat, the colors remind me of a water color painting in a way.

Nature photos taken with a makeshift "double-lens reverse macro", in which I attached two 50mm f1.8 lenses face to face.

A fern tip in the sun.

A good photo, but boring. Put it on a card or something.

My camera has been so dirty lately that I have stayed away from macros. Well, I had it cleaned yesterday and am so glad I did - I forgot how much I enjoy shooting these.

Black-eyed Susans in UV fluorescence, showing their dark "pollinator landing pads," which aren't visible in regular light. These things are always blowing around in the slightest of breezes, but I wouldn't be cutting them down to bring them indoors for photos because we just don't have many flowers around here, so this is about the sharpest I've been able to get them.
