Shot with a reverse mounted 18-55 kit lens. Made a hole in the body cap and fixed a conversion ring to it to get a reverse lens adapter.
Rescued this guy from the pond, well I saw rescued, i'd walked past him 3hrs previously thinking "you'll never sting again ye son of a b*tch.. oooh i'll photograph you later too..."
Anywho. Turns out he was alive, thankfully I didn't find this out till after the shoot was over :-)
Using the last technique as last time, I wanted to show just how narrow the DOF is with this lens combination.

decided to try my hand at reverse macro.
i attached my crappy sigma 70-300 to the camera and held my canon 50 1.4 up to it.
Nature photos taken with a makeshift "double-lens reverse macro", in which I attached two 50mm f1.8 lenses face to face.

Decided to play around with my macro filters. This is the result of doing a "reverse macro" shot with the +10 filter. And why yes, is indeed SOOC! It is true....there are some days I do indeed know what I am doing with a camera!
