how cool, this is my first "reverse lens macro" it worked a treat.... how cool is this... a bit hard to hold on to the camera, lens, focus then snap, but hey.... this is an Ian Botham cricket figurine... i think it came out really well
Reverse Pedagogy opened on Culture Night at The Model Satellite. A diverse group of artists are gathered here together to produce artwork, to educate one another, and to collaborate generally in opposition to traditional art educational models. The project, much of it in the form of an artist residency, involved arts practitioners from different backgrounds, working in different genres.

Playing with holding my 50mm lens up to the sensor reversed. Kind of fun to play with but certainly not the highest image quality.
I live about 1 mile on the other side of this farm and can see the opposite side of this barn from my window.

Engine of an Airbus 319 reversing thrust on landing.
I think the most impressive looking engines during reverse thrust are the double clamshell looking ones on the AirTran 737-300s. When they deployed, it looked like the engine was falling apart.

Still killing time before our 3 hour tour (... a 3 hour tour) ... errr I mean ferry to Digby Nova Scotia, Brad suggested this park which had a vantage point over the falls and the skyline of Saint John, NB. It was our flexibility to adjust to what was allowed us which made this a most serendipitous trip.
As you can see here, the sun is making it's presence known.

I have been going through some old pictures (summer 2010). Macro shot shot with the reverse mount for the EOS 400D kit lense. Spider was hanging on the porch and got a perfect back light from the sunset behind him shining through two planks in the railings.
I wish he was facing the other way, though.
Created in reverse, the letters were somehow masked off and then the wood was painted black. I love the inventiveness of this method and the care taken to mask. You could have easily made froms with squared off corners, but the was effort made to round corners and terminals.
After the first flash this guy turned around to look at me.
