Planned to only reveal him when I'm ready to shoot,but couldn't resist his stare and snapped one yesterday,uploading it as a teaser hehes ^-^ Now he's finally looking matured,definitely able to tell that he's the eldest among the R family(In fact,he is,based on the year he was released)

i spent my sunday afternoon painting this old chair (used up a bunch of little paint pot samples from farrow & ball -- mixed together, the paint became a pretty swedish blue-grey) . . . then, we covered the seat in an old piece of quilt top -- it's pretty, i think.
it was a lovely day here in north carolina; perfect weather to revamp an old chair outside on the driveway ~
This is version 5 or 6 (I lost count) I tried to emulate the proportions of "bignicle" frame. I think it looks okay, it definitely need some more refining.

We've had our garden redone. We brought a load of plants from our previous house in pots, ready for planting out when the weather is right. It should look great in spring and summer.
