Gents -- Now that you've successfully attended to your lady's needs by arranging for her pool cabaña, what sights are there for you to capture this fine morning on Flickr Camera Safari? The New York-New York Hotel & Casino is a wide and wonderful resort campus and there's still much exploring to be done -- So get to it!

And don't neglect to study and admire all the fine Harlem art panels back behind the hotel concierge and registration counter!

Isn’t it really swell that you have the opportunity to personally guide your long-time Flickr Friend in-and-out of all of your favorite NY-NY dining and drinking haunts! And in addition, you two photojournalists get to venture all around-and-about and reveal all of those nifty 1940s Manhattan Art Deco artifacts and props! 😁

Gentlemen -- You must not neglect to stop and appreciate the wide and wonderful wealth of Retro and Modern Art on display along your way to-and-from the Wicked Spoon Buffet! 🍷😋😷

This slim pocket book contains an unattributed two and-a-half page introduction and a brief author bio. The cover notes that the story is “Complete and unabridged,” although I have not compared this publication to other versions of “Universe.”

Apparently these little books were available at newsstands in the 1950s; one could also purchase them via mail, directly from the publisher, for 25¢.

While the copy I purchased is not in mint condition, I particularly like the format of this little book. The cover by Robert Stanley is fantastic and a standout example of the SF illustrations of the period. The typesetting is very good and I particularly like the cover design.

Well, It's another miserable rainy and horribly humid day here so I'm stuck in the house because I just can not breath outside.

Thought I'd post some artsy retro stuff I did with my flowers.

What’s Up! Why haven’t you and your very lovely lady ever booked a stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino!?!? Y’all have been ‘Living Las Vegas’ since 1993, so why haven’t you two done some of that ‘Living’ Cosmopolitan Style?

Sure — We all know that you and your very lovely lady we’re committed to staying at the Stardust, the Venetian, the Paris, and mostly at the Luxor because you two were competing in ballroom dance contests at those Strip hotels. Plus you two had to stay in those hotels because the rest of your teammates had to stay in those hotels too. You two had no problem with booking numerous stays at the nearby Aria, so are you afraid that the Cosmopolitan is too Hip & Swanky for your woman’s more conservative taste? You two never had a problem with dining at the Wicked Spoon, or at The Henry, or at Holsteins. You two never seemed to mind doing cocktails at the Chandelier Bar, or at the Vesper Bar, or with drinking and dancing at the Bond Bar. You two didn’t seem to mind seeing Tony Bennet & Lady Gaga at the Chelsea Showroom at the Cosmopolitan. So why can’t you get your woman to stay in one of the swanky Terrace Suites here at the Cosmo!?!?

Perhaps you’ll have better luck once this Coronavirus Global Pandemic is over. 🤔

By the way, it's not uncommon for one of the local Arthur Murray or Fred Astaire ballroom dance schools to stage a dance social or dance competition in the large 9,000 square foot ballroom here at the convention center. So make it a habit of checking out the daily event schedule. You never know what kind of sport or adventure you may stumble onto -- Can You Dig It!

This skateboard artwork captures the bold and dynamic graphic style of the 1980s, infused with a hint of psychedelic imagination and a contemporary edge. The visually arresting design is perfect for skateboard enthusiasts and art collectors seeking a unique piece. This deck embodies my signature blend of nostalgic charm and modern aesthetics, ensuring it stands out in any collection.
