A daring daylight rescue and retrieval of a Fiesta Supermarket .shopping cart!! Houston,Texas. 8.25.2013.
On Monday 8th December, there was some excitement at Nitmiluk as a team of Rangers slung their 3rd gorge/2nd gorge boats and the 2nd gorge croc trap into the first gorge, in preparation for the anticipated river rises associated with the wet season. North Australian Helicopters brought their Bell ‘Jet Ranger’ and a number of their pilots for the job and all went smoothly, except for the second gorge boat which was swum across the last part of the gorge crossover by Rangers James Gorman and Natalie Chester. Due to the humidity and lack of breeze, the helicopter could not obtain enough forward thrust to safely sling the boat across; James and Natalie did not mind the swim though as it was a very warm day. Both boats and trap were then towed to the boat ramp, to be stored away for the wet season. This is just the beginning of the wet season preparations that Nitmiluk rangers will undertake, other works include the removal of handrails to higher ground and the removal and storage of swim/ boat pontoons. All equipment is subsequently checked over and any repairs/maintenance undertaken, ready once again for the dry season in 2015.

Title: Carnival Chalk Lion
This lion head is scanned and enlarged from a piece of antique chalkware found in a Burlington, KY flea market. We were drawn to the lion head because of the strange, flat but rounded face. It has a classic, architectural look about it.

A Walton Park fielder awaits retrieval of the ball from a field next to the Spring Lane ground during a quarter-final tie with Garforth Parish Church in the Fred Fleetwood Cup, the Wetherby Cricket League's premier knockout competition. The visitors, top of Division One, beat by 112 runs mid-table Second Division Walton Park, who fielded a mixture of first and second XI players.
After the departure for 73 of skipper Michael Fisher, Garforth slipped to 160-9 before Tom Conboy and Darren Childe added a decisive 50 in an impressive unbeaten stand for the last wicket. An early triple strike from pacer Childe then reduced Walton Park to 16-3. No 3 Jonathan Smales, who had earlier taken three wickets, completed a deserved half-century before the hosts ran out of batters.

When the SNABase service starts up, it initializes the various network transports that it is configured to use. Retrieval of the domain name of the local computer is part of this startup process. If the SNABase service is set for automatic startup, a timing issue in this process may occur when the server restarts. If this occurs, the SNABase service mistakenly interprets that it has already cached the domain name of the local computer. The SNABase service then tries to use a blank domain name when it opens a mailslot. This attempt does not succeed, and the symptoms that are listed in the "Symptoms" section of this article may occur.
An SNABase Internal trace file (Napintx.atf) of this problem looks similar to the following:
