The Audi Q7 is a Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV) that will be used to transport Doctors to the scene of the most serious medical emergencies.

They will be first seen on the roads in and around Wales in April 2015.

This model is currently for sale on ebay (until 06/04/15) will ALL of the proceeds being donated to the Wales Air Ambulance charity.

Opening Day at the new space-ageish library that stands adjacent to the Regenstein Library. It's a modern storage and retrieval system and work station that can hold millions of books deep down underground.

Today was probably the last day for most outsiders to get inside as it was open to the "press" until noon today. It's always open to students, alums, faculty and staff but like the Regenstein, it's not a public library. It is spacious and filled with extraordinary light.

Read about the couple (alums) who gave millions to make this a reality. www.uchicago.edu/index.shtml

Slurry pumps are used in the tank farms to pick up liquid and solid particle mixture, or slurry, and provide the force necessary to transport the waste from tank to tank during retrieval operations.

These are typically adjustable-height pumps that use a telescoping tube-in-tube type assembly. The hydraulic-driven pumps include hydraulic lines along with a rubber discharge hose which, in past testing, showed a tendency to hang up, snag or buckle.

ART activities require quick, harmonious, accurate, effective teamwork with high concentrations. In the right pane there appears an egg-retrieval operation in the operating room with the help of ultrasound, which is directed through the needle into the follicle to be aspirated (aspiration) and flushed (flushing). Aspiration results is poured in a large petri dish and searched under a stereo microscope to find the egg (oocyte). Patient’s pulse and blood pressure are monitored. It also depicts a patient whose the eggs was taken while shouting: God bless ART. In the left pane it appears the activities in the laboratory for preparation of sperm with a centrifuge and binoculars microscopes, ICSI (intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection) with a micromanipulator and cultured embryos in CO2 incubator. On it appears the activities at the clinic for ovarian stimulation and evaluation of the male reproductive tract in order to repair the sperm. All activities are controlled by people trained behind the equipments. This painting was made to commemorate 25 years of work in ART, as that shouted at the top right: 25 years of ART, and a message from the experience is written on the left: after 25 years of ART, after over 5000 cycles of ART, after all blood, sweat and tears, nothing is not important: team work, stimulation, egg quality, lab performance, clinical staff, relaxation, prayer .......

Bird Week - A side view resource retrieval game, similar to Choplifter. Players control a bird that flies out to grab food, then returns to its nest to barf slash regurgitate insect chum for the bird's hatchlings. Take too long and casualties from starvation will result.

Destructiod says:

Bird Week offers a tough but necessary lesson for parents. Basically, you can't give your children what they want, ever. First, it starts with a three of four hamburgers. Then in stage 13, their insatiable appetite for fine dining puts momma bird in a stressed out frenzy to satisfy them while juggling the fact that she's pissed off the entire neighborhood who is bird-rioting for food, making your life impossible. Those two little punks never grow up to be normal well adjusted birds when I play, and the mom always dies a quick death. The developers knew this, otherwise it would have been called "Decade of the Bird". You will play for a few minutes, fail your family, and all of you will die. But wait, it's fun!

I've seen these multi game systems in malls and stores all over; systems pre loaded with 100 or so NES games. Some are minor modifications to NES games, some are straight ports. This looked like a set of straight ports. Most of the systems are 30-40 dollars, this one was $12.99!

And I know why. And its not just the "one day warranty" offered by the tourist trap store I bought it from. As I opened it up I noticed the extreme smell of organic solvent. I swear this stuff is made from the cheapest, most toxic plastic known to man. There must be an area in China where everyone in a 2 mile radius is coughing and passing out non stop from the smell.

As for the games and the controllers themselves.... I think the photos say it all.

Bias (solid) and ±1 sigma variability (dashed) of CloudSat-AIRS cloud top height differences for V4 (black) and V5 (red), and for the upper (top panel) and lower (bottom panel). Improvements to cloud retrievals were obtained in V5 over V4, which are more apparent in the upper cloud layer comparisons. In fact, the high height biases for low clouds decreases by 1-4 km and the low height biases in high clouds decreases by 0.5-1.0 km.

About AIRS

The Atmospheric Infrared Sounder, AIRS, in conjunction with the Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit, AMSU, sense emitted infrared and microwave radiation from the Earth to provide a three-dimensional look at Earth's weather and climate. Working in tandem, the two instruments make simultaneous observations all the way down to the Earth's surface, even in the presence of heavy clouds. With more than 2,000 channels sensing different regions of the atmosphere, the system creates a global, 3-dimensional map of atmospheric temperature and humidity, cloud amounts and heights, greenhouse gas concentrations, and many other atmospheric phenomena. The AIRS and AMSU fly onboard NASA's Aqua spacecraft and are managed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California, under contract to NASA. JPL is a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.

This retrieval tool is vacuum version of the Mobile Arm Retrieval System that was developed to extend inside the tank to reach waste at all parts of the tank more effective retrieval while using less liquid. This MARS-V is intended for deployment in C-105, a tank that has possibly leaked since it was placed in service in the 1940s making it a good candidate for this “dry” retrieval method.

This is a much better way of retrieving your boat, especially if no concrete boat ramp. Saves getting salt water on your nice truck/car.

The tractor is 1950's International, remember it very well as a young boy in the 50's - minus of course the sunshade, nobody thought that would be needed. Steel seat too, left much for comfort.
