Feature 602 is a post-retrieval pit dug to bury and/or to dig out a post attached to the northern part of the east perimeter wall of Building 3. The post was dug as part of the original construction of Building 3 (phase B3.1A), when its shape was rectangular, and was dug out in the building's closure (phase B3.5A), when it was a larger pit that cut through platforms F.173 and F.170. It was filled with large chunks of wall plaster.
