Sheridan&Co were given the task to translate this premium Italian brand and create an appropriate retail site that would sit comfortably within a supermarket environment. The challenge was to strike a balance between showcasing a premium, consultation-based cosmetics brand and combine the practicalities of a self-select unit in a 24 hour supermarket. opened as the savoy - biltmore theatre in 1951. it changed ownership and was purchased by the odeon theatre chain in 1963, now renamed the coronet.
however the 1000 seat theatre couldn't compete with the other, larger movie theatres on yonge street and odeon pulled their lease in 1978. the coronet muddled on until 1983 where it was converted to retail spaces.

Re:START is an outdoor retail space consisting of temporary buildings made from shipping containers. Opened in October 2011, Re:START has been steadily growing to approximately 40 retailers, a number of food caravans and a market on the weekend.

Elevations on New Village at Patchogue’s Building 1 are now complete. Inside building 1, paint, tile and trim are nearly complete and cabinet and granite installations have begun on the 4th floor with floor. Roofing is complete on Buildings 2 and 5 and elevations are underway. Inside Building 2 Interior trades are completing rough plumbing, electric, fire sprinkler and HVAC.
Masonry shafts, stair towers and installation of 3rd floor panels are almost complete on buildings 3 and 4.
Ongoing site work includes the rigging of submersible transformers; parking lot curbs and site lighting being installed in phase 1. With colder weather approaching interior parking lot development and courtyard construction as well as completing the installation of all utilities to the buildings is a priority.

An office building will soon rise along Main where the old downtown Macy’s was demolished in September 2013. Per the designs below, the building will rise 23-stories and 346 feet.

The proposed building, designed by HKS and Ziegler Cooper, is meant to include approximately 170,000 sq. ft. of office space in 10 office stories; they’ll be sitting atop an 8-level parking garage. The main street entrance appears to front Spann St.
The River Oaks folks are not going to like tenants looking down on their pools, backyards, terraces, balconies . . .
