Toyota / Sustainable Retailing Exterior Study - 2010 / 2011
Space Projects were appointed by Toyota GB Plc to formulate a blueprint for their “Sustainable Retail Centres ‘” throughout the U.K.
Being current brand guardians for Toyota GB Plc and having completed a successful roll out programme for 190 + sites, Space Projects are ideally placed to identify ‘eco technologies’ that will compliment and enhance the operational demands of Toyota Centres.
The study looked at every component and operation of a typical Toyota Centre to identify opportunities to minimize environmental impact through reducing energy use, generating energy, saving water, rainwater harvesting, recycling.
In tandem with environmental benefits, the study demonstrated commercial benefits via life cycle cost savings for the Retail Centres.
The realization of these works will be translated into Toyota’s new showrooms during the in the first half of 2011.
Toyota Enfield is the manifestation, realisation and result of our study work.

Supergraphics: Just because technology makes it possible to do something, this doesn't mean we really should do it.
The nuclear bomb is one example I can think of.
Another is the supergraphic ad printout, which can be made any size, from a label to a building to a mountain side. In a couple of parts of L.A., any vertical surface is fair game. Good old Third and Fairfax may be one of them, if the entire building front across the street (currently hawking vodka) is any indication.
Now, one expects, even values, this sort of thing in Times Square, but that's another city and another set of assumptions. I'm not sure it transplants well.
This one, though, arrived on the side of one of those old London double deckers that have been cut up and refitted as US tour buses. I don't know what's more disturbing: that London let their trademark buses suffer such a fate, or that now they appear to be turning into rolling billboards.
BTW the whole thing says "Kobe diem," and it is apparently an ad for some kind of yuppie bottled water energy drink thing with vitamins in it. Or something. I can't believe it matters.

Centrally arranged coffee tables, high bar tables with stools and snugger areas for more privacy are enriched by the presence of brochure and tablets, laid out like restaurant accessories. The relational approach towards clients is therefore more reassuring, informal and innovative, even towards the youngest ones to whom is dedicated a kindergarten area for making their wait more playful.
Stores PT Multibrand
Also introducing the brand MEO, we designed the project to “refresh” multibrand stores PT.
It was intended to design a new store, with minimal cost and with maximum reuse of existing furniture.
We design some equipment and, summarizing we did “make up”. So the project was marked by the addition of new elements, lining the white vinyl sticker and some adaptive equipment to the existing one.
In addition the project followed the production of the first stores to guarantee the feasibility of the project on terms determined by the client.
