The study looked at every component and operation of a typical Toyota Centre to identify opportunities to minimize environmental impact through reducing energy use, generating energy, saving water, rainwater harvesting, recycling. In tandem with environmental benefits, the study demonstrated commercial benefits via life cycle cost savings for the Retail Centres.
The realization of these works will be translated into Toyota’s new showrooms during the in the first half of 2011.

Sushi a Go Go: This seems to be one of those cross cultural weirdnesses that started in the 70s and 80s when trade and tourism with Asian-Pacific nations increased. The name is from the famous "Whisky" nightclub a couple of miles north on the Sunset Strip. The food is from Japan by way of the 70s-80s L.A. yuppie fad which has since crossed over into the mainstream culture everywhere. The design is, uh... hmmm. The lurid pictures of the food are very Japanese, but everything else is kind of Fisherman's Wharf Tourist Generic. Love it.
