I think it's almost natural for any photographer to start collecting vintage/used cameras. I found this one a few years ago for only $2!

Resting Place
This is the resting place of an old four legged friend . . . .
Week 17: Atmospheric / Moody
The Blue Morpho butterfly rarely rests with its wings open - you usually only see their bright blue when they are fluttering around. I was thrilled to spot this one resting a managed a decent shot.
Happy Labor Day weekend to all my American friends - have a blast, but take some time to rest.....

Climbing up a hill with full camera gear is pretty tiring when you are not a young buck any more .... time for a rest and some hot soup.

This was a small group from a huge flock of Ibises that landed in a clump of trees in the lake. I have never seen so many in one place before. It was absolutely amazing.

One of my favourite memories of a kid was walking to the local library to check out as many books as I was allowed, I'd spend days on road trips, in the back yard, camping with my nose in a book. It's something I'm trying to get back into, giving myself some time to rest and enjoy another world.
