In La Maruca beach, really close to Santander, Spain, boats rest during the low tides on the sand. It is a huge oportunity to walk close to them, specially during beautiful sunsets
Robin resting or sunning themselves as they do it with their beaks open and wings spread out just chilling in the heat on the woodland floor..
One of those Saturdays that feel super lazy. Like every cup of tea or coffee is still just not filling up the batteries, anyone else ready for a nap?

"Lay to Rest" [7/52]
So, to answer the question... no I didn't get a deer to lay down for us. The other night, this poor little thing was hit right in front of our house. The person just pulled her over into our yard and left her there. I have high hopes that she passed quickly but there were a lot of signs of internal bleeding, so I can only assume it took her some time to go. Usually when someone sees "roadkill" they think of ways to get rid of it. When I saw her, I thought of ways to make her beautiful again and to remember her. Yes, I did remove the flies, some of the scuff marks, and even removed her little tongue that was sticking out. I did however keep her bloat and her eyes.
People don't see the things I see. In person, she smelled awful, was stiff, swollen, bleeding and was covered in ants and flies. She was gone. A part of me is extremely afraid of how I will die. Could I die this way too? By a car? A hit and run... The older I get, the more I have to start facing death. Not just my own but other people around me as well. It's something I get extreme anxiety over and in person I tried to make a lot of jokes about the situation but I was really sad for this beautiful life.
People passed by, slowing down, staring, giving us really strange looks. I'm used to them all by now but when I feel strongly about something or taking photos, it melts away and I go into my own little world. Right here wasn't about me, it was about making this little woodland creature beautiful one last time before we buried her in our back yard. We have a field and woods if you're wondering why the back yard, which is where she came from in the first place. I keep wondering if she was the one I spotted last week close to our house.
So thankful for Liana to come out on such a short notice, put up with the smell, her leg fell asleep, and for everything else. She couldn't see what I could but she knew I had a vision.
Rest in Peace and I hope this photo did you some sort of justice. You couldn't of passed in a better place than in my front yard so you could be remembered forever in a piece of art.
A row boat was tied up in a bay where we went glamping this summer. It made a very peaceful picture.
This old Ent on Madeira needed and found some extra support. I had never seen something similar before. I could've spent all day at this magical cloud covered place!

As Lisa grabbed a towel, Julia just rested her head on Lisa's arm... this was a stressful experience for Julia, and she was happy it was over.

Hello my friends. Owing to a very busy work schedule that lays ahead of me, prior to my upcoming travel, I will be resting a bit from Flickr. It does not mean that I will quit totally, but I can only afford to be on and off. I try and keep up to date with as many of you as possible, but if you miss me, you know why.
Surely if I finish my work soon enough, I will be back.

Built in the Muslim-ruled Al-Andalus period of the Iberic peninsula, Málaga's Alcazaba fortress of course also has lush gardens that must be a welcome respite in the heat of summer.
Muckross Abbey is a ruin within Killarney National Park. The graveyard is still in use as some of the stones were quite recent.

It's been such a week. Our first big group at Puddles, getting my new home in order and all the fall sales. This neko is tired.
Today wasn't the best day... My iPad got stolen in the mall =( ...I put it down in game stop on the counter to pay for a game it was on sale for half price I got excited and walked out with out my iPad... I get in the car and reach for it and its gone... I called game stop and spoke to the sales person and he tells me he didn't see anything and it was gone.-_-... I rush back to check for my self ask to see the cameras..but there wasn't any -_-.... I go to the mall security office and the camera they have by the store is down -_-...Long story short its gone....=( Im trying with the find my iPad app but its not looking to good...
To my iPad...its been real..thanks for holding all my pictures and entertaining my self and little brothers.
To the new holder of my iPad...treat it well and enjoy
