This is why designer and founder, Kristine Rodriguez, personally creates the fabric and structure of every garment by hand. Each piece is a product of labor, love and conceptual thought. As Rodriguez explains, “My priority is exploring a concept and telling its story through the knitted stitch. On 23 - 24 November 2022, UN Women hosted the regional conference on “Transformative financing as an accelerator for gender equality: drawing from gender responsive budgeting experiences and lessons learned”. The event brought together high-level government officials and practitioners from Ministries of Finances, line ministries, national gender mechanisms, local government representatives, Supreme Audit Institutions, civil society organizations and media, and provided a platform for exchange of experiences in the implementation of gender responsive budgeting.
