Airmen from the 192nd Medical Group Detachment 1, 192nd Wing, Virginia Air National Guard, participate in a hands-on training session with the Henrico Fire Department Nov. 15, 2024, at the Henrico Fire Training Academy's Drill School in Richmond, Virginia. This collaborative exercise focused on essential skills, including rope handling, knot tying, impalement techniques, rebar cutting tools, rappelling and the specialized equipment used by the HFD hazmat team, enhancing the readiness and response capabilities of both teams. Members of the 79th Sustainment Command (Support) participated in crisis response exercise Judicious Response in Kaiserslautern, Germany Dec. 5-11, 2016.
The second painting was in response to the artist Robert Roth, by abstracting the subject to create a dramatic sense of mood and atmosphere. Incorporating a variety of textures and shapes which made it achievable to create an abstract and undefined piece of art. The use of acrylic paint meant that the painting was able to maintain its colour and produce the effect I was after.
